Having spent the majority of my career either on camera, or performing various production positions, I had the opportunity while Co-Producing Legend of the White Dragon to direct some scenes while our Director was on camera. I enjoyed immensely the collaboration with the actors - exploring the story, the emotions, etc, and decided that I wanted to try my hand at taking the reigns fully on my own projects. So, I wrote, produced and directed a short, "Next to Godliness" to give myself space to play.
I'm in post on that short now, while I am writing other projects to direct in the future.
Managing teams is nothing new for me, as I led departments at The Voice (14 Seasons), the MTV Movie Awards (multiple), The IHeart Country Festival (multiple), The NFL Combine and numerous others for nearly a decade. I've run teams of everywhere from 5 to 120 staffers. I am a clear communicator and strong delegator.
I look forward to more opportunities to bring scripts to life, focusing mostly in the comedy realm, but also interested in telling action/adventure stories.

Obligatory Slate Shot

Laying out the plan for the team

I'm not sure we're ever NOT having a good time

This is how we pretend not to hear the Key Grip

I like to give my actors a nudge... and then watch them run!

Was it something I *didn't* say?

Love watching these actors work

Love actors who want to play

Directing Comedy is pure Joy

Long days are better with whippets

Shot of the day right here.
